May 09, 2009 · Yes, I am aware neither Lubuntu nor Peppermint are "true barebones" vs Arch or Gentoo, but they are definitely lighter and have less packages than say Ubuntu or Mint. So my question is relating to which between the two is more "barebones" in that sense.
